We’re excited to introduce our new C.G. Electrical Services Refer a Friend scheme — our way of saying thank you to the customers who recommend us to friends and family.
A large part of our work comes through recommendations, and we really appreciate every customer who passes our name on. So now, when you recommend C.G. Electrical Services to someone new, you can receive a £25 Amazon voucher — and they can save 10% on their first qualifying job with us.
How does our Refer a Friend scheme work?
1. Recommend C.G. Electrical Services
If you’re an existing C.G. Electrical Services customer, recommend us to a friend, family member, neighbour or someone you know who needs electrical work completed at their home.
The person you refer must be a new domestic customer from a different household who hasn’t previously contacted us, received a quote or used our services.
2. Your friend mentions your name
When your friend first contacts us, they simply need to tell us your name before we issue their quote.
We’ll record the referral and check that it qualifies for the scheme.
3. They receive 10% off their first qualifying job
Your friend will receive 10% off their first qualifying domestic job with C.G. Electrical Services.
The job must be worth at least £300 including VAT before the discount, and the discount is capped at £100 before VAT. The discount is applied to the price excluding VAT, with VAT then calculated on the discounted amount.
That means they get to save on the electrical work they need while trying C.G. Electrical Services for the first time.
And what do you get?
Once your friend’s qualifying work has been:
- completed; and
- the final invoice has been paid in full,
we’ll send you a £25 Amazon voucher within 14 days as a thank-you for the recommendation.
There’s also no limit in the policy on referring just one household — existing customers can refer multiple new households, although each new household can only qualify once.

Choosing an electrician is often about trust.
When someone recommends a business they’ve personally used, it can give friends and family extra confidence when deciding who to contact. For us, recommendations are also a great reflection of the service our team works hard to provide.

Refer a Friend terms at a glance
The scheme is available to existing C.G. Electrical Services customers referring a new domestic customer from another household. The new customer must not have previously enquired, received a quote or used our services. Qualifying jobs must be worth at least £300 including VAT before discount. The 10% discount is capped at £100 before VAT and cannot be combined with other discounts or staff referral rewards. Cancelled jobs do not qualify.
