We asked CG electrical services for help in Bringing our rental property up to scratch for the EICR certification. They responded really quickly and sent a great team, James and his young apprentice (also James) who both took great care to complete the whole project including, amongst other things, installation of a new consumer unit and several hardwired smoke alarms and a heat sensor with as little impact as possible to the aesthetics of the house. They went above and beyond to achieve this, for which we and our tenant are very grateful. This was no easy task and both showed patience and creativity in finding the ideal solution. Sophie, our lovely first point of contact is also a credit to the company having arranged a competitive quote and convinced us that CG would be the best partner for the job despite good quotes elsewhere. The tenant told us the man who visited to assess before the quote was also very friendly and professional. Carter and Ewan completed several jobs at my house and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They upgraded our under-cupboard spotlights to warm-coloured LED strip lighting, which looks so much better. They also moved our dining room light fixture to be centred over the table, swapped the single pendant for a bar pendant light, and fitted a dimmer switch — all of which has completely transformed the room. They also replaced our porch bulkhead light with a warmer option as the previous one was far too bright. Both Carter and Ewan were friendly, professional, and worked neatly and tidily throughout. We will definitely get them back for future work and would highly recommend them to everyone.
